Shasta Cascade

The Shasta Cascade of California has one aquarium located in the Redding. The Turtle Bay Aquarium features local fresh water fish species including Steelhead, Trout and Salmon. View fish from above through a glass floor in the museum. Aquariums are always one of the best choices for fun things to do with kids.

Turtle Bay Exploration Park is located off Highway 299 one exit west of Interstate 5 in Redding. Situated along side the Sacramento River, this is a combination aquarium, museum, gardens and nature center. See local fresh water fish species including sturgeon, salmon, steelhead, and trout in both large walled and glass floor aquariums. You can't miss the giant Sundial Bridge that crosses the Sacramento River.
