Shasta Cascade

Shasta Cascade lakes offer boating, fishing, swimming, water-skiing, houseboating and other activities. These lakes offer rentals for houseboat, fishing boat, pontoon boats, ski boats, Sea-Doo, Jet Ski, WaveRunner, paddle boat, paddleboard, canoe and kayak. Most have boat launch ramps and marinas that provide fuel, food & drink, cafés, fishing tackle and camping supplies. Several Shasta Cascade lakes offer camping and some even include boat-in camping. Among those to choose from are some of California's largest lakes including Shasta, Oroville, Whiskeytown, Almanor, Clear Lake and many more. Shasta Cascade Lakes

Lake Siskiyou is located off Interstate 5 west of Mt. Shasta City. Situated between Mt. Shasta and the Trinity National Forest, Siskiyou is one mile in length and offers activities that include camping, fishing, boating and swimming. Amenities include a campground, marina, general store, restaurant and boat launch ramps. Boat rentals include fishing boat, pontoon boats, sailboats, paddle boats, stand-up paddleboard (SUP), kayak and canoe. Siskiyou supports fish species like brown trout, largemouth bass and smallmouth bass.

Trinity Lake is located off Highway 299 north of Weaverville. At over 20-miles long and more than a mile in width, Trinity is California's third largest reservoir. Activities include camping, fishing, boating, houseboating, water-skiing and swimming. Amenities include campgrounds, a marina, general store, restaurant and launch ramps. Whiskeytown Lake is located off Highway 299 west of Redding. As part of the Whiskeytown National Recreation Area, Whiskeytown is more than 5-miles long and nearly 2 miles in width, Activities include camping, fishing, boating, water-skiing and swimming. Lake Britton is located off Highway 299 east of Redding. Situated between Mt. Shasta and Mt. Lassen, Britton is long and narrow at approximately 6-miles long and less than 1 mile in width. Britton is fed by Burney Creek and is part of McArthur-Burney Falls State Park. Activities include camping, hiking, horseback riding, fishing, boating, water-skiing and swimming. Manzanita Lake is located off Highway 44 east of Redding. Situated at the northwest entrance to Lassen Volcanic National Park, Manzanita is one of only a few recreational lakes in the Lassen National Park region. Amenities include a campground, general store and launch are for small non-motorized boats. Kayak rentals are offered during summer months. Eagle Lake is located off Highway 36 north of Susanville. At over 15-miles long and more than 5-miles wide, Eagle is situated at the eastern portion of Lassen National Forest.
