San Bernardino Mountains

Silverwood Lake is located east of the Cajon Pass off Highway 138. Silverwood offers activities like boating, fishing, swimming, camping and picnicking. Amenities include a marina and general store. Boat rentals include ski boats, fishing boat, pontoon boats, jet ski, water bikes, paddle boats, canoe and kayak. Fish species include trout, large mouth bass, catfish and bluegill.

Lake Gregory is located between Silverwood and Arrowhead off Highway 18. Gregory is small at less than a mile in length but provides plenty of fun for children with its white sandy beaches and water toys. Activities include kayaking, canoeing, fishing, swimming and picnicking. Amenities include walking trails, a skate park, dog park and model boat area. Boat rentals include rowboats, water bike, paddle boats, stand-up paddleboard (SUP), kayak and canoe. Fish species include trout and bass.

Green Valley Lake is located between Arrowhead and Big Bear off Highway 18. Green Valley is a small private lake less than a half-mile long. Passes can be purchased for public use. Activities include camping, boating, fishing, swimming and picnicking. Amenities include a marina and general store. Boat rentals include fishing boat, paddle boat, kayak and canoe. Fish species include trout, large mouth bass and crappie.

Big Bear

Big Bear Lake is located at the junction of Highway 18 and 38 high in the mountains, east of San Bernardino. At nearly 6 miles in length, Big Bear is a large recreational lake. Activities include boating, fishing, swimming, water-skiing, camping, horseback riding, sightseeing and picnicking. Amenities include several marinas, cabins, restaurants, campgrounds, museums and much more. Boat rentals include everything from canoes and paddle boats to jet skis and pontoon boats. Hemet Kayak

Lake Hemet is located off Highway 74 south of Idyllwild. Hemet is small at 1½-miles long and a ½-mile wide. Activities include camping, boating, fishing and picnicking. A marina offers boat rentals including pontoon boats, fishing boats, row boats, paddle boats and kayaks. Fish species include trout, bass, blue gill and catfish.
