Shasta Cascade Horseback Riding Overview

Shasta Cascade

Horseback riding in the Shasta Cascade is available in the popular regions of Burney, Shingletown, Chester, Quincy and Clear Lake. Lose the hiking boots and cover more distance in less time than hiking. Generally, horse trail rides head for the most breathtaking lookout points and other points of interest that the region has to offer. Most of the horse trail riding in the Shasta Cascade includes trips from one to two hours and helmets are provided for rider safety. Although trail riding horses can be unpredictable, the horses are generally of calm temperament and disposition making them easy even for inexperienced children to ride.
