TIP: The Solana Beach train station is a moderate walking distance away. Traffic on the freeways can be backed up for miles on race days so the train is a great alternative.

Gaslamp Quarter is located off Interstate 5 in downtown San Diego. This historic portion of San Diego covers more than a dozen square blocks near the San Diego harbor and is full of restaurants, bars, nightclubs and shops. TIP: Parking is easy to find around downtown and there are several means of transportation available including trolley, taxis and bicycle taxis. The trolley is cheap and a great way to get around San Diego.

Barona Casino is found off Highways 67, 78, and Interstate 8 in Lakeside. This luxurious resort is run by the Barona Indian Tribe and features a casino, hotel, golf course and steak restaurants.
