Klamath Jet Boat Tours is located off Highway 101 north of Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park. Situated on the Klamath River, Klamath Jet Boat Tours offers 2-hour thrill rides up the Klamath River in twin-engine, high-speed boats. The round trip tour travels 45 miles and stops at interesting sites and wildlife. Visitors sometimes spot bear, deer, elk, osprey, bald eagles, hawks, otters, mink and more.

Things To Do in Eureka

Finnish Country Sauna and Tubs is located off Highway 101 from Samoa Boulevard. At the corner of 5th and J Streets is café Mokka, which is obscured by an oasis of mature birch and conifer trees. café Mokka is the region's oldest coffeehouse serving old world coffees and Scandinavian treats. Behind café Mokka are the Finnish Country Saunas and Hot Tubs. Each sauna is situated in its own private cabin and each outdoor hot tub in a private enclosure. Each sauna cabin is made of western red cedar and features a grass roof, benches at five levels and a natural light source. Towels and eucalyptus oil are available. Hot tubs are made of Jarrah wood and feature jets at three levels and changing rooms. Rent by the half-hour or hour. Clothing is optional.

Humboldt Bay Harbor Cruise is located off Highway 101 from C Street. They offer 75-minute narrated cruises aboard an historic 1910 vessel. Learn about local history, points of interest and wildlife of Humboldt Bay. Evening cocktail cruises are available during warmer months.

Trees of Mystery is located south of Crescent City off Highway 101. Trees of Mystery features unusual and incredible formations of Coast California Redwood trees. Follow a short interpretive trail through the forest or take the Sky Trail gondola to the peak for astounding panoramic views from the lush redwood forest to the rugged Humboldt coastline. Trees of Mystery also includes a Native American Museum with the most extensive private collection of basketry in the world. View artifacts from the local Yurok, Karok and Tolowa tribes to the Zunis of the southwest and those from the mid-western planes. Also available is a Motel and café. Look for Paul Bunyan and his blue ox, Babe.

Things To Do in Mendocino

The Skunk Train offers historic train rides through towering trees of the Mendocino forest. Spot deer drinking from the Noyo River, as you chug the 40 miles of pristine redwood forest through tunnels, over bridges and past open meadows, that follow the coastal "Redwood Route". The Skunk Train started out as a logging route in 1885 and now carries visitors to and from the historic logging towns of Fort Bragg and Willits. Take the train for a scenic ride or reserve a spot for dinner and wine tasting. The Skunk Train offers specialty tours for holidays and celebrations such as 'Crab and Wine Days'.

Things To Do in Santa Rosa

Snoopy's Home Ice is located off Highway 101 in Santa Rosa. Situated in the hometown of PEANUTS creator, Charles Schulz, Snoopy's Home Ice is the coolest place in the world for ice skating. The Redwood Empire Ice Arena opened in 1969 and resembles a Swiss chalet complete with facades and panoramic scenes from the Swiss Alps. This beautiful and world-class ice skating arena also features a café and gift shop with plenty of PEANUTS character. As an avid follower of winter sports, Charles Schulz once owned this ice skating arena.

Joe Rodota & West County Trails is located in Santa Rosa, Sebastopol and Forestville. The Joe Rodota Trail is 8½ miles of paved trail that connects Santa Rosa to Sebastopol with very minimal road connections. The West County Trail is a 5½-mile paved trail that connects Sebastopol to Forestville with minimal road connections. The trails parallel Highways 12 and 116 through farmland, vineyards and rural towns along an old train route. A dirt equestrian trail parallels the entire length.

Bocce Ball courts are available at Brutocao Cellars in Hopland. Six authentic championship Bocce Ball courts are available for beginner to tournament players. Quick lessons are available.
