Things To Do in the Mountains

Mt. Baldy Trout Pools are located on Mt. Baldy Road north of the 210 Freeway. They offer several small freshwater pools that are teaming with trout just waiting for anglers to catch. Bring your own pole or rent one there. You only pay for the fish you catch. This is a great experience for the youngsters. Cost includes the cleaning of fish and packaging on ice for transport home.

Miss Liberty Paddle wheel is located off Highway 18 on Big Bear Lake. Join a 90-minute tour aboard a two-story replica paddlewheel boat. Hear fun facts, folklore, celebrity sightings and more on this fully narrated tour of the lake. The boat is equipped with plenty of seating, restrooms, snacks and beverages including beer and wine.

Alpine Slide at Magic Mountain is located off Highway 18 on the south shore of Big Bear Lake. Alpine Slide at Magic Mountain is a family fun recreation area with an alpine slide, water slides, go carts and miniature golf. The Alpine Slides are a quarter-mile long cement courses filled with high-banked turns and long straightways similar to an Alpine bobsled track.

Perris Valley Skydiving is located near the junction of Highway 74 and 215 at the Perris Valley Airport.
