Central Valley Wineries Overview

The central valley stretches from Sacramento in the north to Fresno in the south. In between are the wine producing towns of Lodi and Madera. The central valley has for many years been a major exporter of grapes and has only recently staked its claim in wine production. Chardonnays from Lodi are quickly gaining notariety for being the best in the state. Follow the Madera 'Wine Trail' for a taste of Madera's award-winning Merlots, Chadonnays and Muscats. Notable central valley wineries include Bogle, Corbett Canyon, Barefoot Cellars, Alameden and Delicato.
