Fire Engine Tours offers a unique tour aboard a classic, San Francisco fire engine to many of the city's most popular sights. Engine Company 33 operated out of the historic fire station from 1896 to 1974 until the modern trucks could no longer fit through the bay doors. Since then, a husband and wife team has operated tours aboard the decommissioned trucks to sites like the Presidio, Fort Point, Sausalito, the Cannery and more.
TIP: We saw the Fire Engine Tour go by as we were biking the bridge. The driver was ringing the bell and everyone on the bridge and fire engine were waving back and forth. It seemed like people were having more fun on that tour than any other we saw in San Francisco.
