Snow Sports Overview

California has several world-renowned ski resorts as well as small community supported ski hills. Many California ski resorts also offer groomed cross-country ski trails and most provide rental equipment, food services and ski schools. All ski resorts in California are ski and board friendly and most now offer terrain parks. Although this site is focused on California, some ski resorts on the Nevada side of Lake Tahoe are included. Be sure to check the resort websites for ski packages.
