As one might guess, there are not many choices for kayaking in the California desert region. The only waterway that can continually offer kayaking year-round is the Colorado River. Lake Havasu is a boaters paradise and packs in on all the summer holidays. With over 450 miles of shoreline, there are plenty of secluded coves, canyons and sandbars to be explored.
