Railroad Park Resort - Dunsmuir is located off Interstate 5 at the Railroad Park Road exit. What a cool place this is, especially for kids and railroad buffs. Stay in an actual Southern Pacific, Santa Fe or Great Northern railroad caboose. Could have been tacky if not maintained as well as it is, the Caboose Motel does it right. Caboose/rooms surround the swimming pool and jacuzzi in a loose circle. Resort amenities also include a restaurant & bar/lounge that offer views of the Castle Crags granite spires.
