San Francisco Botanical Gardens

San Francisco Botanical Gardens Overview

San Francisco

The San Francisco region has several professionally landscaped gardens that are open to the public. From gardens in wine country that combine a wine tasting venue to an English country estate with traditional plants of England and the public gardens in downtown San Francisco to a heritage rose garden, you're sure to find a garden of interest. Several gardens are located within Golden Gate Park on the west side of San Francisco including the Japanese Tea Garden, Conservatory of Flowers and the San Francisco Botanical Gardens. What better region to enjoy a garden than the birthplace of 'Flower Power'.

"If you are going to San Francisco, don't forget to put a flower in your hair"
– Scott McKenzie
