Bronson Caves are located off Highway 101 from the Hollywood Boulevard exit. Connect up with Canyon Drive from Hollywood Boulevard and head north into Griffith Park through Bronson Canyon. Park in the dirt parking lot on the right and start hiking. Caves and tunnels leftovers from an old rock quarry and used by Hollywood filmmakers decades ago for dozens of movies. Most notably, they served as the Batcave in the Batman television series. You may recall the scenes where Batman's suped-up GTO comes flying out of the cave whenever the Bat Signal is spotted.

Smugglers Caves are located in the Portuguese Bend region of Rancho Palos Verdes. Situated just north of the Trump National Golf Course and south of Abalone Cove Shoreline Park are two small headlands known as Portuguese Point and Inspiration Point. At the tip of these headlands are several small sea caves that are accessible by multiple dirt trails descending from Palos Verdes Drive. Due to low ceiling height, Smugglers Caves are slightly too small for exploration by kayak and a bit too dangerous on foot. Caves are best visited at low tide.
