Channel Island Sea Caves are located in the Channel Islands off the coast of Los Angeles, Oxnard, Ventura and Santa Barbara. Access to the islands is available from Ventura Harbor. The Channel Islands include San Miguel, Santa Rosa, Santa Cruz, Anacapa, and Santa Barbara. Sea caves are only accessible by kayak. There are many sea caves available for exploration throughout the islands but Anacapa Island seems to have the most variety of lava tubes and sea caves.
TIP: If you are not familiar with sea cave exploration you should hire a guide. Some caves are large enough that a rising tide or a rouge wave could injure or kill an inexperienced explorer.
