San Diego Amusement Parks Overview
There are several Amusement Parks throughout California. Some concentrate on thrill rides, while others are more of a theme park. A few seaside parks still exist where the rides are at water's edge or on a pier stretching out over the Pacific Ocean. Many of California's fun theme parks include a waterpark. Legoland California is located off Interstate 5 and Palomar Airport Drive in Carlsbad. This is a fun theme park for the young ones with rides like Fairy Tale Brook and Coast Cruise. Some of the mini cities and structures built with Legos are amazing. Legoland also features the Sea Life Aquarium featuring aquariums and discovery tanks full of ocean life. Legoland Waterpark is attached and features waterslides, rivers, beaches and many more water themed adventures.

Belmont Park is located in Mission Beach near Interstate 5 and 8 freeways. This is a classic boardwalk amusement park located right on the beach.
