Skunk Train historic train rides through towering trees of the mendocino forest. Spot deer drinking from the Noyo River, as you chug the 40 miles of pristine redwood forest through tunnels, over bridges and past open meadows, that follow the coastal "Redwood Route". The Skunk Train started out as a logging route in 1885 and now carries visitors to and from the historic logging towns of Fort Bragg and Willits. Take the train for a scenic ride or reserve a spot for dinner and wine tasting. The Skunk Train offers specialty tours for holidays and celebrations such as 'Crab and Wine Days'.

Llama Treks are available from Lodging and Llamas in Fort Bragg. Choose from several unique llama treks along the Mendocino Coast. Experienced guides take you through lush redwood forests or along secluded beaches. A variety of gourmet lunches are provided for each trek that include hors d'oeuvres, wine, salad and hot or cold main dishes. Llamas are the common pack animal of the Andes Mountains in South America and carry all supplies including anything you think you may need for the trek.

Bocce Ball courts are available at Brutocao Cellars in Hopland. Six authentic championship Bocce Ball courts are available for beginner to tournament players. Quick lessons are available. Brutocao Cellars was once the original site of Hopland High School and underwent a restoration and transformation to winery in 1998. The property also includes a tasting room, restaurant, bar & lounge and indoor & outdoor banquet facilities.
