The Queen Mary is located in off Interstates 405 and 710 in Long Beach. She made her maiden voyage in 1936. Built as a luxury liner, The Queen Mary actually broke records during WWII while transporting troops. Long Beach purchased the ship in 1967 and has since maintained it as a hotel with restaurants and activities. Adjacent to the Queen Mary is the Scorpion, a Soviet submarine used during the Cold War era. Tours are available.

Helicopter Flight to Catalina or create a custom tour of your choice with Island Express. The helipad is located near the Queen Mary in Long Beach at the end of Interstate 710. They specialize in getting customers to Catalina Island in less than 15-minutes. Consider their tour up the coast to Santa Monica, Hollywood and back.
